In the heart of La Plata a three-story building, built by Baldus Real Estate, contains 28 geothermal heat pumps totaling 86 tons of cooling. The parking lot and surrounding grounds cover 58 wells measuring 1 inch in diameter by 300 feet deep. Simmons Heating and Air Conditioning worked with the Baldus family, Lewis Engineering and Lawrence Abell and Associates, the Architect, to design this environmentally friendly project. Simmons Heating & Air Conditioning also worked with the Faccina Contruction Group to design a similar geothermal system for La Plata Town Hall.
